Moonlight and Stars

At night sometimes I stare up at the sky

Twinkling with a million fireflies

An expanse of magic and mystery

Stretching farther than any eye can see.

The bright stars sing in harmony

God’s song, this sacred melody

Science declares his majesty.

Even in this world gone mad I’m still filled with wonder at it all

And every star knows its place

I wish I knew mine

God, where do I belong

In your beautiful universe

I lie awake, praying to you

Under the moonlight

So good, so true, so beautiful, and holy it is

To see you in your creation
